We invite you to register for the iCON2012 meeting, sponsored by our partner the Arizona Heart Foundation. Current ISES and Collaborative Partner organizations receive a discount on registration fees.  Not an ISES Member? The International Society of Endovascular Specialists (ISES) is pleased to announce that the Endovascular Summit is going to Arizona! A call for challenging and interesting cases is now open for new sessions added to the exciting iCON2012 meeting scheduled for February 12-16, 2012 in Scottsdale, Arizona in collaboration with the Arizona Heart Foundation.  iCON is the official site of the ISES Annual General Assembly meeting. We invite your submission of a challenging clinical case, with or without complication you have managed related to endovascular intervention or vascular surgical procedure. Also welcome are case presentations of innovative approaches in any area of endovascular or vascular surgical procedures

Case Submission Criteria and Specifications

Cases and required forms must be received by the ISES Office no later than January 13, 2012.  Required forms include two page disclosure and case submission form.  Also required at the time of submission is draft PowerPoint presentation.  All cases and disclosure forms will be reviewed by the Program Scientific Committee, who will select cases for presentation during the ISES ENDOVASCULAR SUMMIT AT iCON2012.  Please note:

  • Physicians whose cases are chosen will be listed as clinical faculty, have their meeting registration waived, and will also receive a complimentary one year membership in the Society with subscription to the Journal of Endovascular Therapy. Travel, accommodations and other expenses are the responsibility of the clinical faculty member and will not be covered by ISES, iCON or the Arizona Heart Foundation

  • Physicians who submit cases for review that are not placed on the agenda will receive a discount on their iCON2012 registration fee and a 50% discount on ISES membership.

  • The case submission form, PowerPoint presentation and disclosure form must be received on or before January 13, 2012

  • The case description should be no more than 150 words.
  • Case Submission category/categories must be designated on the submission form
  • A separate submission form must be submitted for each case 
  • Each case must have only one submitting physician; no  more than three cases may be submitted per physician
  • PowerPoint Instructions: For each case, a maximum of 6 minutes will be allotted on the agenda for presentation and no more than 15 slides will be allowed.   The presentation must follow precisely the format of the case submission form.  Limit introduction to 1 slide, include no literature review, and be sure to have last slide bullet point teaching points and/or lessons learned. Please submit presentations, along with required forms by email to admin@isesonline.org or contact the ISES office for instructions for sending presentations greater than 4MB in size. Although the PowerPoint presentation may be a draft, it must contain all the relevant information described in the case submission form to include images, findings, teaching points and lessons learned.  PowerPoint format should be with linked with related images, AVI or MPEG video files.

Please note:  Case descriptions are submitted for scheduling and program planning purposes and will not be distributed, reproduced, or listed on any meeting materials without express authorization.  Information presented is kept highly confidential.  To help preserve the confidentiality of this meeting there must be no patient names or identification on any images displayed at the meeting.  Please include disclosure information as part of your presentation.  Each presenter and attendee will be required to complete and submit a confidentiality agreement.
