For the past few years, one endovascular professional
has been recognized at the Night of Honors and Gala for his or her outstanding
achievements in the field of endovascular interventions. In its 10th anniversary year--2003-- ISES suspended this tradition to salute the host of founders, members, partners, and supporters who have contributed to the organization's success in endovascular education and research. The annual gala was held Saturday, February 8, 2003 in the Grand Ballroom of the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. The evening also highlighted the past ten years of the Society as program participants reminisced in photos, videos and personal accounts. A sense of pride and joint accomplishment filled the air as all shared in a salute to the meaningful contributions of the Society in the ever-expanding field of endovascular intervention. Throughout this fanciful evening, guests also enjoyed a light-hearted program featuring a David Letterman spoof along with a tribute to the eight Founding Members of the Society.
