On February 12, 2000, many friends, family and ISES colleagues of Juan Parodi, MD, gathered at The Phoenician Grand Ballroom for the first Night of Honors and Gala. The evening's festivities were dedicated to Dr. Parodi, the inaugural recipient of the ISES Honor Award for Excellence in Endovascular Innovation.
Dr. Parodi was saluted for his endovascular graft concept, which revolutionized the treatment of vascular disease. The ISES Honors Nominating Committee and Board of Directors saluted Dr. Parodi for his innovative prowess, which sparked one of today's most exciting endovascular technologies.
