Continuation of the Great Debates

Beyond the Science and Regulatory Issues: What Do Physicians Really Think?

ISES Special Session

Each year, the Society presents the ISES Special Session in conjunction with the Annual General Assembly of Members.  The format of this event is a series of debates which probe participant opinions regarding key current issues in the endovascular discipline.

Last year's Special Session, held on February 11, 2003, featured three provocative debates on the following premises:

  • Carotid Stenting Is the Gold Standard and It Is High Time Surgeons Acknowledge It!

  • Every Renal Artery Stenosis Requires a Stent Even if Diagnosed on “Fly-by” Angiography

  • Present Results Do Not Justify Broad Application of Stent Grafts to Treat AAAs

These fact-filled and often-times spirited discussions among the world's pioneers in endovascular therapy are now available on video tape, audio cassette and CD. Don’t miss out on this educational and informative production.
